Our Experience and Customer Testimonials

The founder of Golf to Fit has played golf since 1960 and has experimented with golf clubs most of the time since then. He is a Certified Class A member of the Professional Clubmakers' Society and also a member of the Golf Clubmakers Association. In addition, he is a registered Professional Engineer with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. In the last eight years however he has applied his engineering training and experience and devoted more and more time to making custom golf clubs and learning about golf club fitting.

· July, 2001 - "Fred, I just hit the 3 wood you made for the first time. The trajectory on the ball was the first thing I noticed. The ball got up and landed softly every time. Perfect. Is there some way I could have the same shafts fitted to the driver and 5 wood that I already have?" Craig.

· September, 2001 - "Dear Fred, I wanted to tell you how much I like my new driver. In fact, I just won the Senior Division of the Ohio Women's Golf Association at Deer Park the first part of this week. Thanks for your help, Lee Ann."

· September, 2001 - James F. called to thank me for prompt delivery of his Snake Eyes CMF driver and has been to the range already. He "loves" the driver and said it is "hot", just what he expected!

· June 2000 - Linda C. said she really liked the new flex shaft I installed in her Yonex 5-wood (Big butt 0.865 A flex graphite) and that she hits the wood 15 to 20 yards longer than before.

· June 2000 - "Thanks Fred. Peg is hitting the club great. I am too. I may order a driver and 3 wood for me." Mike G.

· September, 2000 - Dale F. phoned to order a 3 wood and 5 wood to match the Trident Titanium driver with UST Pro Force graphite shaft that I had just sent him 2 weeks before. He said "out of the first 50 driving range balls he only sliced 3 - the rest all went straight!! The club felt great and it produced longer drives."

· June, 1999 - Another E-mail: "Hello Fred, thanks again for building the Golfsmith iron set for me. My iron shots are going much straighter, and they're so much easier to swing compared to my old set. Regarding the XPC3, I'm thinking of purchasing the 7 wood and was hoping to get a price quote for the following etc, Harry T".

· July, 1999 - Another E-mail: "Fred: I've played twice with the new clubs, and they feel great. Still have to get used to them, but I seem to hit about 1 club longer with this set. Played my best 9 ever the first time out! I've got several outings during the next week that will be the real test, but it looks like we got it right. Thanks again; I'll be in touch when I'm ready for woods! Steve M"

· August, 1999 - Danny M. called to say "I loved the clubs you made for me. I will spread the word to other people that they shouldn't pay so much for clubs that don't fit them, but should buy from Golf to Fit."

· September, 1999 - A second E-mail from Steve: "Fred, thought you would like to know: I won the men's regular 18+ handicap division of the Toyota National Skills Challenge held this past weekend at the ____GC, using my new clubs from Golf to Fit! The only clubs in my bag that you didn't assemble are the putter and the driver. Make me a deal and I'll do a testimonial! Thanks for the service. I've been passing out your cards and flyers-a couple of people said they would look you up after the current season is over. Steve M."

· September, 1999 - E-mail: "Fred, the clubs are great and I'm getting a lot of distance. I'm hitting my 8 iron 155, and my 5 iron at least 200 off the tee. I play a nine hole course around here where the par fours are relatively short (320-360). All I have to do is hit a nice five iron and then I'm left with an 8 or 9 or wedge shot. As soon as I get my short game and my putting going I'll be ready for the pro tour. Thanks again, and let me know if you get any good deals on woods. Thanks, Jay B."

· August, 1998 - "Dear Fred, just a note to thank you for making such a great golf club (driver) -- I've used it a few times now and I must say it has improved my distance and attitude. I'm very confident!! Thanks a million!! Ronnie C."

· August, 1998 - Another E-mail: "Fred, the new clubs were fantastic. By my second round, I was consistently hitting the driver straight which is unusual for me, and my long irons played better than they ever have for me. What a huge difference from the old ____ blades. Thanks, Mark S."

· October, 1998 - Howard A. called and said: "Fred, I liked the 17 degree and 19 degree clubs (woods). They were easy for me to swing. Would you have that same shaft that you could put in my driver? Howard A." (Note: he subsequently purchased a set of irons.)
